Mover Over Beckam !

Today was Rylie's first day of soccer!
I have never seen her so excited about something!

They teach them basic skills and the rules of the game!
Rylie ran the whole length of the oval kicking the ball without loosing it once!

She makes friends so easily !
She never holds back when she wants to say something ...
like telling the boy off who shoved her in the game!


Funny the things you see when you get home and load the photo's on your pc!

She got her very own soccer ball and drink bottle! and CAN NOT wait till next week when she gets to play again! I can tell this little obsession is not going to go away soon!

Christmas Day {Part 2}

I'm not sure who had more fun here, though I did hear some argument about where certain stickers had to go and someone refusing to look at the instructions lol
I'll let you guess who that was!!!

So how will 11 Barbies get around you might ask? ... why the Barbie Camper Van of course along with the Beach Buggy and where will they relaxe? WHY in the Barbie pool with the plasma and pull out bed in the camper van along with burgers and fries and the real sound of a flushing toilet lol pffft Dang Barbies have it better then I do !!

Someone got TWISTER!
It started out as a nice innocent game ....
And this is what happens when the big boys get involved!
Punching peoples legs out from underneath them is what happens! and Fathers sit on their sons to bring them down... all because they want to win! BOYS!

Christmas Day 2009

The girls were very excited when it was time to go to bed and wait for Santa to arrive! They put carrots out for the reindeer and cookies and a chocolate milk for Santa!
Once they were asleep the loot came out!



It was like barbie mania in this house!
By the end of the day they had accumulated 11 BARBIES!



Indiana was very excited... she loves little fiddly things (of which I have explained if I find them on the floor they WILL be sucked up in my vacuum)



Dirk got his surround sound he had been wanting!
Keeping something a surprise from this guy is hell! He is worse than any kid I have ever known lol

After all the fun and mess Dirk cooked up a great breaky for us all with our favourite hash browns. Next stop Nana & Grandads!

The BESTEST gift ever !!

Well I can't even begin to tell you how excited I was today when I opened a gift from a very special friend of mine! I have been following this ladies blog for a few years now, I have even received an e-mail from her! She said I was funny hahaha...

But my very sneaky, special, wonderful, thoughtful, extraordinary friend some how managed to get hold of it and this was what I received wrapped all PERTTYYY as usual !!

I was SO EXCITED I almost wanted to cry !!

Oh Dear !

And the husband thinks I'm a hoarder !!!



I was looking at Real Estate the other day and this very room is 5 min from our house!
They only wanted 1.2 MILLION!
This was... I'm assuming... The Mans Room!

Rylies Kinder Concert

She got a bit shy when she started since she was first up for the night standing up there on her own... but once the other piggies were called up she got into the swing of it! She kept smiling at Dirk and myself while she was singing, I thought she was so stinkin cute!



Rylie has had a great year at kinder. Her teachers have been fantastic and she has made so many friends whom she is starting school with Feb 2010!



It is kinda sad that tomorrow will be her last day of Kinder forever!
But she is SO looking forward to school and I am happy for that!

I love my little girl, she will always be my baby no matter how old she is!
She such a kind and sweet thing, carrying her baby sister away from things she is not meant to be touching, holding Indi's hair up while she brushes her teeth, just some little things I have noticed this week that reminds me she is growing up into a lovely little girl!

To start the night we had a Taste Test.

It was Minestrone Soup and the 3 top ladies to guess the most ingredients in ths soup where our CHEF'S for the night... They were each given an envelope and inside revealed who had the Entre, Main Dish & Dessert!

From left to right - Melissa R, Kerryn N and Delia F

They had NO IDEA what they would be cooking!

They all picked an "apprentice" to help them from the audience!

Melissa chose Kylie B ... and they had Entre's!

"Pork Spring Rolls with a side of sauces"

Kerryn picked Kate and they had the Main Dish

"Gourme Spicey Meat Balls & Pasta"

And Delia chose her sister Vanessa who were cooking up

"Lime Cheese Cakes"

They had 30 min to complete their dish and after the time was up we brought in our

SURPRISE GUEST JUDGES...

who just happen to be our Bishopric!

So after trying each of the dishes they scored them on "Time, Taste and Presentation" !!!

Some people thought it was bias since one of the chefs was the Bishops daughter lol

And the WINNERS are...

DELIA and her sister Vanessa with their Lime Cheese Cakes !!!!

Well done Girls!

The night was AWESOME! Everyone had a fantastic time!

I had woman tell me it was the best Enrichment activity they had ever been to!
That made me feel great!!
